Did a little extended parallel parking this evening in my Puma, which has a faulty radiator fan. I keep a close eye on it but whilst getting the car into a very tight spot I took my eye off things and when I looked up I had steam coming out of the bonnet where the expansion tank is. Turned the car off immediately and the steam stopped in about 15 seconds.

Fluid on the ground from under the tank but plenty of fluid still in the system. Looks like it sprayed out a bit in the engine bay hopefully from the tank itself.

What should I check and in what order? I'll do the usual Googling but wanted to ask a few Puma experts on here.

Thanks in advance.

Just for future references if this happens to others, just turn the engine off immediately or the engine can get damaged and let it cool down. Do not open the cap while it's still hot as the steam will burn you!! The steam can leave from the cap it's designed like that.
