It's 15.00hrs French time, It's the Sarthe Valley, It's Saturday 13th June, its silent, the only thing that can be heard is a Skylark thats twitting as it pecks at a grain of corn left lying on the road....
A gentle French Flag Flutters, then falls to the ground.. POW!! ZAP !!! that birds history, gone to the great aviary in the sky.
55 Cars, 30,000 bhp, the 77th 24 HUERES DU MANS has started.
Its tough out there,
Two nights of practise, endless pit walks,Tropicanna Pit Babies,Parade of Drivers, the Poo bar, The Stranglers Saturday night, the BBQ, the wall of dumpy bottles to build, 24 hrs of racing, an Aston Martin win maybe.
Someones got to do it, i'm there, FRP 374's there.Drop by the Houx Campsite and share a beer.
