Well, perfectly on cue to complement my creaky rear suspension and creaky drivers door, my steering is now making a creaky/grindy sort of noise at around manuvering speeds. The power steering fluid level is good - anyone any thoughts?
It does this when the engine has been running for some time too - not just from cold.

Where in the steering is the creaking coming from? The engine / rack end or the steering wheel end?

Could it be a classic case of the spring contacts behind the steering wheel?

That's more of a grinding though although a good suggestion. WD40 stuff.

On that note my seatbelt has started creaking at the top which is strange.

It's coming from the steering wheel end. It has been suggested the pump is on the way out - sounds plausible perhaps?

Can you feel it through the wheel when it does it or is it just the sound?

You can feel it very slightly, but for the most part it's just the grinding noise.

Did you get this sorted Neil?

(Forgot to ask you at the last meet  )

Not yet - lots of other issues to sort! Everything is breaking!

How about a "try and fix it" meet somewhere with tools and axle stands?

Anyone up for it?
