Puma 1600 gearbox and final ratios

Postby Puma_1600 » Mon Oct 02, 2017 7:11 pm

Hi! We are building rally car for Finnish national class and we need to do national homologation. Unfortunately it seem to be quiet hard task to find gear ratios. Ratio info should be in some "official" letter like Ford service document or similar. Also number of tooths is enough to provide this information. So in case someone has this kind of information we would be really glad to have it. Br. Juha Malinen Finland juha.m.malinen ( @ ) gmail.com

https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do

Have you looked at the Ford ETIS page? In UK, entering Vin or registration brings up the build details, including gearbox and final drive details,
For our Fusion:
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual Transaxle - B5/IB5
Drive: RHD FWD
Axle Ratio: 4.25
Gear 3.15/1.93/1.28/0.95/0.76

There may be a Finnish equivalent to the ETIS website.
