Non powersteering rack for racing puma? Is it possible??

Few downsides to that conversion - firstly the manual rack is slower so you need more turns and secondly the Puma column doesn't mesh complete with the Fiesta rack so you either need a Fiesta column as well, or some other solution to remove the play.

The main reason I ask is that that the racing puma is wider? The racks longer??

The track rods are different but the racks are interchangeable.
