I've just got hold of a rust free puma with 44k miles on it and i want to transfer some parts onto it from my old hillclimb car seen below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IPawwkc57k" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For now this is done on a budget so ideally i'd like to use the chipped ecu from the old car, its a muff and the new car is a tape. I believe the old ecu has a bluefin chip on it.
Is this swap possible or even just worth a try?

I've ordered some fibre glass panels-boot lid and bonnet and i'm going to remove the aircon. Mods are limited as its in the road going 'un-modified' class- but induction is free! I would like to fit bike throttle bodies but that may have to wait until off season.

I'm also looking for FRP cams and coilovers if anyone has any available.

Cheers

Love that video clip mate. That was a great looking car. What happened to it?

I only ran that car a few times. During the two year i had it it needed quite a lot of welding on the sills and was starting to smoke. The low mileage car came up at christmas time for less than the price of a new engine. It just made sense to brake the old car.
Air con is stripped from the new car now, and gearbox swap-the old car had a frp box is well under way.
