Has anyone seen an improvement on a remap FRP or otherwise as just fitted a Direnza 4-2-1 with 2 1/4 exhaust with a decat pipe and cat replaceable.
I have a 1 lambda and tape ecu I beleive.

If it does multiple pops when letting off the revs between 3-4K RPMS, then it has a TAPE.

There will be a difference in a remap, as it removes the torque limiter in first.

Does all TAPE ecu's have no limiter or its only frp map? I'm asking because in poland we haveent any frp's, and nobody seemsto have map, or idea how to remove limiter...

I'd like some tips/advice on where to go to get a remap, pretty much same setup - standard except for 4-2-1 manifold. Although I have DIVE ecu with 2 lambda sensors.

Try Pumaspeed, they have a map for the DIVE ECU, you can either go to their workshop to have it done, or they'll send you their little box of tricks to do it yourself (if you leave a deposit, refundable once you return the box). The map is effectively the same as the FRP map available elsewhere for TAPE ECU.

paulous thats great info.

how to check which ecu I have?

FRP map, works on completlly standard engine (125 bhp)? or not perfect idea?

FRP map , if put on standard car, can I put cams later, and have same map? or that frp map is individualised ?
