Reprogramming Remote Keys

Hi everyone,
For the life of me i cannot seem to reprogramme my remote keys, basically my puma had been sitting dormant for awhile battery died and so did the remote etc. But i have everything up and running again and have used various sites and manuals but just can't seem to get the remote to work can anyone help?

Is it the central locking aspect your trying to reprogramme or the immobiliser?

Ok my key has just all of a sudden stopped working today.
Tried the sticky u have posted and tried new battery!

All i will say i am very pissed off!!!!!! I just knw i am going to walk away from the car without locking it!!!!
Really upset!! :(
 
:O Vicky mines done the same ive tried a new battery and re-programming not happy :( i did find on here a guy who converted a jag flip out key but cant find the post ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

dont like it, i want mine!!! :( Maybe i was doing the programming wrong? i was putting the remote key in the ignition? i keep reading about a second key????
 
If i was to buy this

and then put my key on the end but use the blue remote then try the programming key in ignition turn etc would it work?
or if this transit key blip wont fit on the puma key can i just buy a new puma remote blip and program that?
 
I have a problem i tried re-programming and cleaning the metal points but when i put the battery back in do both the metal points stay underneath the battery?
