Hello,

I own a 98 Puma with IR central locking and an alarm too.

here is the thing i want
- i want to change/disable/remove actual central locking and add an aftermarket one.
- keep the actual actuators
- change the key assembly from IR chunky stick to a shiny nice flip key and get the locking remote inside.

What do i need to do?
- get an aftermarket central locking module and simple straight swap? or do i need something else too?

Apart from the fact that this seems like a LOT of effort for a flip-key, (wouldn't it be easier to attempt to change your present key to a flip-key?) I would assume that there is an instruction manual that would come with an after market system - this would tell you if your dreams can become reality.

Anyway, here's a .pdf on after-market central locking: http://www.discotrek.co.uk/pictures/Right%20CLick/Universal_Fitting_All_Vehicles.pdf

Well my central locking is IR.
That means all i want is change the module.

Problem is i have an alarm too...

OK I took a look after a PNI 288 central module... now...

what can i do to change this? i have an alarm, i have a central module, but i want to change it to this aftermarket... any idea?
