Hi all,

My battery doesn't seem to be charging when driving. I left the charger on it over night and starts straight away. However roughly two 10 mile journeys later it doesn't want to start.

Could this be an alternator problem or the battery itself knackered? Any ideas?

Thanks

Mike

First thing to do is get your multimeter out, check the voltage when on and off. Battery should be 12.4V ish (above 12V) to start the car properly and then when running is usually more like 14V to charge.
