You can check it here: viewtopic.php?t=26486&start=25
Very useful information on rebuilding the Alternator , which was done in 2 stages.
Thanks Sinisa for taking the time to post and also provide a reference back to your post again today.

Hi all, did find the boxes! I used PFI bearings (http://www.pfibearings.com/eCatalogue).
The big one is 17/47 mm x 115 mm (ID/OD x width). #6303-2RS C3.
The small one is 8/23 x 14 mm (ID/OD x width). #B3-23D

Hope that helps,

Yes, I went to a special store dealing with electrical stuff for cars. They just asked what type of alternator was in question, we went outside, they confirmed it was Mitsubishi and gave me these bearings based on catalogue data. They had PFI on stock and that was it.
I replaced them, they fit and the alternator is working nice and quiet

Hi Sinisa

Thanks for posting this information about the replacement alternator bearings.

Is there by chance a couple of typing errors, that may need amending in your post?

1) The large Bearing shows as 115m width , yet listings for the bearing with that part number are 14mm width ?
e.g.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BEARING-SIZE ... bb2964YVqg

2)The smaller bearing, Is the part number B3-23D incorrect and should instead be a B8-23D, (as that has the dimensions that you have listed)?
e.g.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/B8-23D-S930P ... =item41aa8

Of course, you are right. My tipos!

The correct part numbers:
#6303-2RS C3 (the bigger one)
#B8-23D (the smaller one)

Thanks Sinisa.
Typing isn't my strength either  .
At least we all now have the correct part numbers for future reference when we need to replace the bearings in our Alternator .
