Hi all, couple of days ago I noticed there was a lot of vibration at idle when stopped, worse when car is cold and idle is at 1200rpm. Its noticeable at lights etc that somethings not right.
If you increase the revs to 1200, its worse, but above that it feels fine and dandy. Revving it up and no vibrations, but back at idle you can feel somethings not right.
Any clues from experience? its 80000miles old, 2001 1.7 car. My guess is engine mounts, any other ideas? Any idea of the cost of having them done if it is mounts?
Thanks for help in advance!

Vibration at idle - engine mounts?
I would check would be the rear mount. It is bolted to the back of the engine/gearbox and the subframe.
Then there is the engine mount on the drivers side and the gearbox mount on the passenger side. Check them all for excessive movement.
All the mounts are pretty easy to change as a DIY job.
