i have no headlights in my car. some bast4rd stole my dvd player and since then they have not worked.
the sidelights work and the indicators.

the stalks weere checked and changed
the relays were checked and changed along with all fuses.
i can find no broken wires behind where the dvd player was.

HELP PLEASE SOMEONE AS I NEED THIS FIXED AS NOW HAVE NO MOT AND AM STUMPED.
 
I can't imagine that stealing the DVD player could affect the lights apart from if blowing a fuse :?

Have you had a multimetre out to check if there's any current to the lamps?
 
Dipped and main beams are fused individually and for each side (total 4 fuses).
Main and dipped beams also have individual Relays (total 2 relays).
 
It is deffinatly not the switch on the stalk as the stalk was changed and still made no difference. i currently have all casings off waiting to check for a current draw. hopefully should get this checked tomorrow
