Unfortunately the time has come to sell my beloved Puma, the kids are getting bigger and it’s just not practical anymore so with a heavy heart I must take the plunge. Having spent in the region of £12k on her in the past 2 or 3 years, it’s not a decision I’ve taken lightly.
Model: Puma 1.7 (Mk 1)
Colour: Melina Blue
Year: 1998 (R Reg)
Mileage: 90k
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Price: £5,000 ono
Engine Modifications:
Lightning Motorsport - 1.7 Puma Stage 3 consisting of:
Jenvey 42mm individual throttle bodies
LM3 spec camshafts
Fully ported head – Stage 3
LMS spec uprated valve springs
LM3.5 spec camshafts
Heavy duty rod bolts
FSE fuel pressure regulator
Power boost valve
330cc injectors
Standalone ECU
Other Modifications/Upgrades:
Ford Racing Puma gearbox with limited slip differential.
Paddle Clutch
AP Racing brakes.
Speedline Turini 17" alloy wheels
Alpine INE-W925R head unit (CD/iPod/MP3/Sat Nav/Handsfree Phone)
Alpine HCE-157D reversing camera installed.
Interior upgraded to the Recaro leather interior used in the Puma Millennium edition.
The car has been used as a daily driver and as such is not a concourse example, however it has wanted for nothing and as has had a lot spent on it over the past couple of years or so. The first rolling road after the engine modifications showed 171bhp although that’s since been reigned in a touch to make it more driveable on a daily basis.
The photos I had of the interior are apparently too large to upload, so I’ll take some more tomorrow and add to this post later.
Thanks for looking.
