To any of admins that would find time to consider this: is it to much of a hussle to adapt the site to accept the PDF's as well? For wiring diagrams it is much easier on memory: PDF offers sharp diagrams, and needs much less space to store it so perhaps something to be considered, if possible?

Cheers, Siniša

Hi red,

Just tried and no joy.

'While uploading “hl.pdf“ the following error occurred:

It worked ok for me and I didn't change anything after the first time, would you mind trying again?

Perhaps I was not clear: I was trying to put the PDF's in gallery? Maybe that was the problem?
I could've attached PDF to the post in question (as you have obviously proved) but I thought it would be better to put it un the gallery for future reference if someone needed it?

Ah, that's different, I've only just allowed PDFs in posts so it wouldn't have worked before.

I'm not sure about the gallery, it's not really what it's designed for but I can take a look.

My line of thinking was that these images originated from PDF at 1280x980 or so pixels aren't great read and are heavier in terms of size than the original PDF anyway. And this being a wiring diagram needs all the clarity possible, IMHO

I've checked the gallery configuration and it isn't possible (other than ZIP files which I don't want to allow) to upload anything other than image file extensions.

A suggestion would be to create a topic either in the Knowledgebase or appropriate forum with some info, a descriptive title and then the file uploaded. This way this could be reference as easily as the gallery.
