Server Maintenance

Postby red » Sun Feb 22, 2009 12:08 pm

The ProjectPuma server may possibly go down for various periods throughout the day.

This is for necessary work to ensure smooth running of the site 8-)

Thank you.

I dunno about that but it certainly wasn't on for hours on end last night/this morning.

Seems to be a continuous problem keeping the site going as I always seem to get cut off at least once everytime I'm on, usually after I've written a ton of stuff which I sometimes manage to copy before it die's or I lose which is a pain in the arse....lol

Since the sites 'birth', I think it's been offline 3 times, and not for a fair while now (until last night / this morning).

I don't know why you say it's a "continuous problem" yippeekiay, as it hasn't been offline now for ages.

All things considered I think we do pretty darn well keeping it going with the resources available.

Keep up the good work Mr Boss.

Nowt wrong with my ISP as every other site I use is ok.

Site was down again this morning around 2.30am as I got sick of trying to log in and kept getting the 'navigation cancelled' page and all other sites I use were still ok.

Definately a hosting server problem as I believe others are having problems posting stuff recently. Might be because I'm usually on very late/early and maintenance is being carried out but it's still a pain in the backside all the same.

Paul, are you using Internet Explorer?

Wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw it. Try Firefox instead mate.

Yip, I'll try set some tests going for over night users.

Because i'm in bed then it's hard to diagnose anything!

Is it every night consistently?

My use or the outtages? Yes to first, quite often to the second. I can live with it most times but took me bloody ages to catch up on new posts the other day...lol
