I bought a v reg Puma a year ago as a stop gap car, massive mot failure and not a lot of cash. Remembered them from when they were first introduced so was pleased to find one for sale locally. Has all the usual minor faults and design problems. Water in passenger well, half a tube of silicon sorted that out. Parcel shelf kept falling of, remove the insulating tape someone had put on the side bars and put a couple of "o" rings over the strings cured that. Cleaned the headlight lens with T-Cut and elbow grease to get rid of the hazing but haven't found a cure for the condensation in the off side rear light so just have to live with that. The best one is the way water runs straight into the boot if you open it after it has been raining.
Having said that my "stop gap" car has now become a permanent fixture as once you drive them you are hooked. Why did Ford stop making them?
