1.6/1.7 parts comparability.

Hi Guys

I've just acquired my first Puma.

I sold them when new and fell in love with them immediately.

Mine is a 1.6 and I've been offered a magnaflow exhaust from a 1.7.

Question is, will it fit?

Yes although there's more to it than engine size, some aftermarket items when designed to be fitted along side the matching manifold will join the rest of the system in a different place to the OE flange.

See whether its designed to fit the standard cat and how it joins.
