hi all yes never had a puma before but just braught one from a friend 1.7 02 plate black (ish) very cheap because hes had it for ever and never looked after it..................................... :lol: :lol: :lol:
it has a few issues like it uses oil when thrashed......
abs and anti lock warning lights are on dash but its stood for a 2 months and they wernt on before.. had a look on forum for those so will work through then with a meter and clean up the thingys..
little bit of bubbling on the inner sills ?? would be nice to no if there is a reason for this one?
awesome car and i think we will enjoy it once iv had a tinker.
cam belt will be fun!! oooooooooooo

Sounds like you've got the hang of searching things for yourself, as for rust, it's just inevitable given the cars age, if it gets repaired then probably worth using some rust prevention treatments such as waxoil.

...Welcome! There's great advice on here with plenty of "how-to-guides" to get you through virtually everything and a gathering of "gurus" to guide you through the rest... good luck and enjoy! :grin:

...Oh, and there's always syrup of figs or Dulcolax etc. for the other :lol:

welcome ed, yes the guys on here are always willing to help with advice and tips, be great to se a few pics off your car.
