Just bought my 1st Puma 5 days ago and have been thoroughly impressed with it so far! T plate 1.7 in Moondust Silver, full Ford service history (I know it doesn't tend to mean much but it looks good in the service book). Paid £300 for it, came with a years ticket, everything works (including aircon) and the husband of the previous owner had fitted HiDs (pleasant surprise). Got the usual paint cracking on the bonnet I've seen on many a Fiesta and Focus of the same year and a rattle behind the dash which is starting to get on my nerves but considering these are the only problems I've come across, I'd say I've dne pretty well.
Scoured through the forum and came to the conclusion you're definitely a group of knowledgeable and friendly people I should get to know. I am looking to make this pocket rocket a little bit more special in time to come.
I'm a mechanic, total car nut, owned a few fords (a couple of series 2 Escort RSTs and a couple of XR3is) but never a Puma till now. Have to say, it's one of the most surprising cars I've owned.
Look forward to getting ti know you all and picking your brains in the future!
