Hello,

I recently had to replace my car at short notice due to catastrophic engine failure & purchased a cheap Puma 1.7 in silver (the colour that is, its not how I paid for it!). As it was so cheap it had a few little issues, & whilst looking for some parts locally, I found an even cheaper Puma 1.7 in black so bought that one also (couldn't refuse it as it cost less than a set of spare alloys).

So I now have two Puma's - what fun little cars they are :p

Hi Red,
I was planning on keeping the black one purely as a donor car as the body has a few areas of rust coming through (rear w/arches & around door mirror on o/s) Ive had it on a ramp at work & there is also a 'fair' bit of corrosion at the back - the silver one on the other hand has no rust on wheel arches & is fairly rust free underneath also - both cars have less than 70k on the clock & they have both had the cam belts done in the last 12 months - I got the black one for £150 which I just couldn't refuse as it has had new tyres fitted only 2 months ago! (the previous guy got scared by the rust underneath but had spent over £2000 in the 18 months he owned it) I personally prefer the spoke alloys to the fan type & that's what attracted me to it in the first place.
