Post by Little Dub » Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:44 pm

Hi, can anyone help

I have a puma 1.7 engine with no airbox, there is no hose from the cam cover and I don't how this should be piped up. Can anyone help???

I am putting the Puma 17 into a Ka using a Ramair puma come filter, I have a connector to what I take is two pipes but I am unsure what' two pipe should be connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there.
The pipe should run from the airbox to the cam cover. This is the breather hose and is connected via a small sponge filter in the bottom of the standard air box to the inlet in the cam cover. It allows fresh air to enter the crankcase as the pcv valve draws out the blowby gasses from the combustion process.
