Ok i think this is pretty common...
a broken ear, plastic clamp from headlight usually tend to brake off.
You have multiple choice... here is mine:
Also you can use only the small part and bent it over the L shape to lock on I'll put a picture of that too...
Underside of the headlight is bit complicated so i had to use the above solution...
Also on the upper side, which is facing the interrior of the car, you can use a bent steel rod like on the back cover
