Fit 300mm Brakes how to guide

Post by trublustu » Tue Jul 09, 2019 9:41 pm

Hello mate.
There's a couple of ways to do this.
It's popular to fit the mo3 Mondeo master and servo. It's not something I'd recommend as although the ms is a bigger bore so less travel. The servo is massive, so there's less feel and it's easier to lock up/kick in and)
Another option (what I did) is to fit the ms and servo off a MK4 non abs fiesta. Ms bore is right, but the servo is smaller, so there's plenty of feel. Also the non abs ms has restrictor valves on the rear circuits so the brake balance is spot on.
As a surprise, I have just broken the track car and have my old ms/servo available.
Sorry for the long reply, but it's not a straightforward answer lol.
Regards, Stu..

Fit 300mm Brakes how to guide

Hi y'all newbie here xD
Would like to know if there are any regular mondeo brakes that i can use and not just the ST170 ones, and also considering i have a 1.6 Puma with no ABS and drums at the back what would be the best setup partswise for a rear disc conversion?
