I believe they are. They look like ABS sensors I recently bought for a Puma but then the connection is straight, which you want because you're going to use spacers.

Ive had some thoughts swinging around me head and thought ill raise them for oppinions.

Wanting to design as close to factory looking engine bay as possible (d170sams frp 591 is sexiest so far), i have been looking at the ecoboost engines for ideas of layout and presentation so to speak.

Im almost decided on plumbing the turbo with the exhaust outlet on the gearbox side ... and having the air filter intake 'S' bend over the top..

Some visual examples:
20200523_034234.jpg
Fiesta ST180
20200523_034149.jpg
Mk4 Fiesta 1.3 endura
20200523_034058.jpg
Puma with 2.0 Zetec

Looking at the endura alone tells me Ford themselves may have continued this look if they turbo'd the 1.7.

What do you lot think?? :?:

That looks bloody awful.....do the original Puma a huge favour and leave it alone.
These "back street conversions" look cheap and tacky.....they turn an up coming classic into a laughing stock.Ford never intended the Puma to look like that modern day monstrosity.....bad taste!

Coor not even a lil applause on the photo shop edit? done it on me phone as well.

Well I guess one of my Puma's will have to remain in standard stock condition to honour Ford and Mr Ian Callum and of course yourself.
But as someone who had qualified with a diploma and what not in Art & Design many moons ago, I see no harm in "recreating" or adding to a design of any sort .. especially if only for 'personal' taste.
Let's be real many modern day monstrosities over the years have been done to esco's, sierra's, Mustangs & fiesta's all the same. Each person chasing their own look to what they feel they shoulda of been sold.. classic or not.. bad taste or not.

Try taking it a little smaller. The hood and bumper lines don't flow well or make any sense.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to come across that way. I thought it was pretty clear you were just noodling around for fun. I can appreciate the effort, and think it might be cool with a bit of tweaking.
Just suggesting a little clean up on the lines is all...I would bring the top corners of the bumper in to meet the corner of the hood, and widen the section behind the license plate to be at least as tall as the plate or maybe slightly taller as if there were an actual bumper behind it.
