1, FRP 023 now with nitrous, seals going left right and center so over winter all seals to be replaced and may upgrade pistons and rings...may...also may not
2 FRP 419 awaiting turbo but running fine. (now wrapped up for the winter)
3 FRP track day car awaiting new engine and 4x4..lots to do
4 Turbo puma rebuilt turbo going on this week back on road next. then its work on replicating and improving...and then building a kit...(will be wrapped up for winter)
5 Pumaspeed engine done and running a treat, air bag light has come on now though. This one is lpg converted a useless ugrade, is lowered with upgraded discs and calipers. going to fit bigger discs though...this is the winter car.
6 Pumabird 3 red is a dog, but useable. winter car but need some normal wheels and off road tyres for it...have one set...
7 Puma silver is a works run about
8 is for parts
9 is for parts and engine. may go back on track for a bit of fun.

I have a spare car plus an engine and three gearboxes plus an st220 engine that I may just shoehorn into one of the cars...

got to work out how to fit the roll over cage to my frp track car and may fit one to the other two as well...want to still build an s1600 for the road but think it will have to wait for a bit, skint at the moment...

bit addicted to the things, they are such fun cars...my mercedes and other cars are all underwraps as i prefer my pumas...
 
puma turbo number 4 what turbo was it in the end? have you left the turbo kit as it was or have you fitted a intercooler now?
 
no its still as is so far, we had to have the turbo rebuilt which turned into a saga, its done now and project can go ahead...we will replace the turbos with the ford escort turbo unit cheap and plentiful...then the frp goews turbo, got the manifold man ready and we will build our own manifolds, it will be a neat installation and with the battery in the back we will be able to fit an intercooler. it will mean for big power at least a decompressor plate, which increases the engine size slightly and for really big plus 250 we may have to do other internal mods, no news on this yet but we will destroy a few engines on the way. I think realisitically 250 or 300 bhp is about as big as you want to go without going duratec...and if you run it at that kind of power a lot it will fail, oil being very very important, especially to the heads and cams, the vct needs some thought too but we will over come...
 
were do you keep them all, wish i had space for a few more on the drive
 
latest news we have found the source of the turbo, its a saab aero and can be modified easily with different vanes for different size engines and to change the wind up period...so at last we have the thing on the move....we may now look at using this as a standard option...

we are going mini supercharger for the supercharged car...and I am sourcing a 4x4 x type to fit the 4x4 mechanism to the puma...still not fully committed to which engine i will use but the st200 is looking good...

however as you can see this will be slowish progress for now as we stillhave to service other cars and make a bit of cash along the way...

cable in the steering wheel gone on pumaspeed, replaced from the scrap car...

I have a bit of space as I have a few other toys, mostly military AFV's tracked and wheeled vehicles, and a few military trucks, well a lot actually but thats me.
 
i want lots of toys like that :(, got my frp and a 22 foot yacht that im looking to get rid of! wud love an armourd personel carrier! just for the school run! some of the other parents will just speed passed with an inch to spare, dont look dont care!

Zil 157 needing new engine and a fair bit of work to get on the road again...getting a cummins straight 6 diesel and eaton overdrive box. Box is mostly cleared out but needs the mast/aerial mount removing then we will see if the box is worth keeping.

the 432 is road legal and a lovely drive,, noisy but scary if the brakes fail...no way to stop it...or sterr it, just duck and hope the hit isnt too painful...took my son to the prom in it, and the other one in a Ural 375D
 
the second ural above was in the film or is in the film new world zombies with brad pitt and the MTLB was in 007
 
that isnt the full list of vehicles just the military stuff...as my insurance companies call me I am a true petrol head through and through...
 
I'd be like a kid in a sweet shop tinkering my life away but enjoying every minute if I had that lot.

Pity you were'nt closer as it'd give me something to do when I got bored as my previous welding & fabrication experience would be handy around that lot ;)
