Hi,

I'll show you my Puma,

it's an 1.6 SE 2001 version, no AC
I am the 3rd owner
when I bought it in july 2010, it's had less than 68 000 km
Currently, the Puma has approx 85 000 km

meantime, the car has undergone some changes

At the beginning

_ KN panel filter, in a standard air box modded to FRP
_ 1.7 induction hose
_ new Ford coil pack, with multicore 10 mm HT leads and Denso irridium spark plugs
_ Pumabuild exhaust manifold with exhaust wrap
_ FRP 100 cells sport cat
_ Milltek cat-back

Some galleys to find an exhaust ring betwen manifold and cat, genuine ring isn't water-resistant,
and FRP genuine ring is impossible to find

Brakes upgrade

A good start on the car. Not a fan of your exhaust tips if im honest. And if youre going to lower this, watch that lower strut brac catching on road imperfections and causing serious damage.

Thank you for your opinion

In fact, I was disappointed by the twin exhaust made by Bastuck,
It's too heavy, the assembly is not easy because the manufacturer lacks one fixation,
and sound isn't great ...
at the time, I had mounted this with Sportex race tube and no sport cat, may be explain its poor sound ?

Currently, i have a Milltek cat-back ... better sound, but not as well as my old Toyosport cat back

I do not want too much lowered the car,
the roads are quite damaged, and are many hight speed bumps ... :? :?

I thought I bought coilovers, but after a friend had pierce his Milltek exhaust flexible on a pavement
I prefer to buy conventional dampers like Bilstein B8 with Eibach or H&R springs

It was a meet organised for January 2007 which was featured in Total Vauxhall Mag. Was a pretty good day :)

It's totally crazy

In any case, in France, there will probably never do that
in fact, often the Puma owner's don't like Tigra & inversely

and when we make a meeting between Puma's owner, there are not many, at the most fifteen

I just received a Powerflex kit
Do you have any advice to give me, for mounting of the rear polybush wishbone ?

I read on the net, in some cases, it was necessary to weld the cage on the wishbone ?
true or false ?

Yesterday my little Puma 1.6 is passed on dyno,

the result :

what do you think ?

Yes, i'm french
why you do not like them?

the result :
115 hp at 5739 rpm
and 157 nm at 4763 rpm

with an 1.6 engine not a 1.7 :p

But if you want to give me a 1.7 engine or a complete 1.7 Puma, no problem

Look on Pumaspeed

http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/product-Fiesta-Zetec-S-Power-Upgrade-ZS120_89.jsp&pic=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

in their opinion, when you fit an 4/2/1 manifold whith a good exhaust system, and a cone filter
the 1.6 engine should give approximately 120 hp

there would be nothing exceptional, on the contrary, missing at least 3/5 hp

for the torque, don't forget the result is in newton-meter, not lb ft

157n.m give 115,79 lbft

Yeah, but under 25 ... the insurance price is insane for an 1.7 in France

But it does not matter, I started to prepare an 2nd Puma saved from the breaker
and I will try to swapp it

Do you like snow?

Nice mods so far, liking the new intake very smart.

"sparx" like the fact that in your pic from last year there is a "millie" centre stage, cool

Wouldn't like to park alongside too many Tigra's might catch something

hello everyone
