Hello!

So I bought the Puma a few months ago and this is how it looked when I got it:

The interios was fine but the bodywork was worse. It had rust in the rear arches and I think 2 or 3 different kind of blue. :) The first thing I did was buying new rims which had recently been on a focus. The rims' condition wasn't that good so I got it cheap for about 120€ (which included tires, with 2 of them was still useable). My dad who works as a resprayer and I painted them just a few days after I bought them.

After that we decided to start respraying the sides as those were the parts which was in the worse condition with rust and 2 or 3 different kind of blues. We also went with some "Puma edition, st-stripes" on the sides. :) They kind of had to be bigger at the back so it wouldn't look weird with the shape of the puma. But I think it turned out great.

After putting the blue paint on and polishing it to get ready for Euro Ford Nordic 2014 it looked something like this:

Here it is standing next to my dad's Ford Escort 1996 cabriolet xr3i:

We then painted the front of the Puma black as I thought it would look cool and it's also quite practical when the front is getting in bad condition, all you have to do is spray with some matte black spray.

So that's the story of my Puma so far! Still got a lot of work to respray the rest of the car but I think I'm a good way on the road.

Things left to do:
• Respray done
• Lowering kit
• Maybe get a new exhaust. (Not in best condition, leaked a few weeks ago but fixed, still could need a new one)

I would also love to get the seats from the ford racing puma, but will probably never get it.

Update (5/8 -15)
• Front Splitter
• Rear Spoiler
• Light tuning (125 -> 140+)
• New rear lights

I hope you have enjoyed the story so far! Feel free to write your opinions! :)

Looking good, I like the stripes and the wheels. I have been thinking of spraying my silver propeller wheels white. :)

Looks really good with those side stripes, top job......also love the Anglia's in the picture, especially the one with the minilights on.

Keep up the good work :thumbs:

Printed out from computer and went to a company which make stickers! :)

You might find on ebay!

Feels like it's time for an update! :)

So I got some lowering springs fitted a few weeks ago. They were pretty cheap but they had some very good reviews so I went for them - http://www.carfantasy.nl/verlagingsveren-ford-puma-typ-ect-vogtland-p-222648.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

EuroFord Nordic took place a few days ago, so I got the car properly cleaned which was needed! :)

As you can see I also got some external lights fitted in the front!

Feels like I've taken a small brake with the car but I now found some more motivation and can start doing sth...

Car is generally in quite good condition now. I still have some work on the paintwork to do.

I have now started looking at getting some more horses out of the engine. Will see what I will do but it's not gonna be overkill, getting apr. 140 hp would be nice! :)

Also started looking at some aeor. A splitter is far up on the list and then maybe a rear spoiler. Not sure if it will be an f2 for the aero or just a small one for some cosmetics!

Headlights were in bad condition inside out. Could have put time in opening and washing inside but decided to solve it differently!

Painted the headlights with black matte spray where it was possible.

The rest is polished as good as possible.

Actually, like the additional lights. So out of place there that they actually fit, if you understand what I am trying to say! :wink:
They do stick out a bit. They are more for practicality than cosmetics tho, gets pretty dark where I live and because of all the reindeers it's nice to actually be able to see :) (puma headlights aren't that good).

I've actually been thinking of making holes in the front bumper to get them in a bit, may do that sometime in the future! :)
