Indeed, everything doesn't look out of place as you might imagine when told about the mod!

Unfortunately some butchering of rear metal is needed to get the rear fiesta fogs to fit (using Lhd fog as well)....

IMG_0772.JPG

If you use the reflectors instead then no need for such cuttings... but then what would you do with the rear fogs??

Loved seeing the progress you are making with this. Just bought a 1.7 Puma with 50k mileage for £500!! And although my ambitions are a lot smaller than yours, the amount of ridiculous things you are doing with this car are giving me hope that a newbie like me with no experience can still give it a good go.

DIY electrical advise needed!!

I'm in the hopes of putting together a touch sensor system... I'm at that about to do a crude prototype / not sure what I'm doing stage..

The system must power on when either unlock signal is sent or door is opened.. with either of these signals one of two delay relay will activate sending the 12v to a converter dropping to 5v then going to sensors.. sensors will activate another set of relays that will allow 12v to power door actuators...
((Hope this makes sense :s ))
Can someone have a look at this diagram and kindly give opinion and advise on any changes please??

For the step down, or if you know the draw current you could add a simple resistor (make sure you get a resistor that can cope with the power dissipation.)

Step back up:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Micro-3 ... SwnHZYTCXh

Switches: Depends on current draw, relays for high current, transistors for low current (mA).
Also try and fuse it like the car uses.

Didnt think of those. Was thinking a small 5v comm relay that can shift 12v through??
Im assuming with one of these i can do away with the relay and maybe power the actuator direct through this??

Ive aquired 10x ttp3 touch sensor pads for the switches. One issue is they do nt hold constant continual power which i why ive intergrated delay relays to theoreticaly cut power flow after short time.
The relays are omron h3y relays.

Eurocarparts, eBay, gumtree, burtons, clarkins and one or two members from here (for sale section).
I do have trade account with euro n clarkins but besides that I'm always looking for the lower price deal.
Helps when you have part numbers and are not over fussed by branding.

MK3 Mondeo Brake servo/Master Cylinder fitted!!! (as per pumanoob)
Yes it’s larger and Yes it fits nicely... and as said “with a little fettling” the Puma reservoir will fit!!

Only issue faced was the brake pipes... so my resolve was out the pipe clamps and scarily and slowly band and twist the original pipes into necessary angles.. a bit harder coz the battery is still in the bay at the mo!!

For those who wish to try..

So now to adapt bracket for brake hose... bleed system through... give disc a lil (special cleaning) formula... then heat her up n test it out (“after the first 15-20 miles as the pads are new and so need beding .. or so the safety text book goes” :pinkeye:  )
Me temporarily 14” steelys would actually fit with a spacer but why do that? I’ve taken out the redone SportKa wheels and loaded them up front...
