i bought this Puma from a lady owner in April 2016. It started out totally standard, however the brakes were terrible (as are all standard Fiestas, Pumas and KA's) so I fitted Focus ST170 300mm Front discs and Mondeo ST220 Callipers, carriers and pads. there was still too much pedal travel so i also fitted the mondeo ST24 Brake servo and master cylinder and resovoir and made a custom Brace to hold the servo in place under braking (if youre a ford nut youll know the servos move a fair bit under braking) Photos of all work are on this post. So that was the beginning, Then i replaced the rear wheel Cylinders and Shoes and had some welding done on the sills toward the rear for MOT. I fitted the Thunder Full leather interior including door cards after that. Then i decided i wanted to keep the car until it died as i enjoyed the drive, so i removed the head and had it totally Refurbished at a Cylinder Head specialist called "AutoSpa" in Brighton, East Sussex. At that time i replaced the Head gasket, All gaskets for anything connected to the head, Throttle body, Inlet manifold, Exhaust manifold, rocker cover etc...It also had new Water pump, cambelt and tensioner when going back on the car. The head was Gas flow tested and passed with flying colors, Compression is spot on perfect. After having done all that work, My girlfriend fell pregnant and i realised i couldn't keep the car as i couldnt afford to insure and tax it and a family car (I have 3 children so not enough room in the Puma for all of us!) so i have to sell the Puma now Reluctantly. Im hoping somebody will look after it and love it as much as i did.
Forgot to mention, i removed resinator from the airbox and fitted a cold air feed directly to the air box, its sitting on Focus ST170 Rims (i refurbed and painted white) wrapped in the standard focus ST170 215/45/17's all 4 are good and i also changed the Spark plugs for NGK Iridiums, and oil filter and oil was changed at time of head fitting as was the brake fluid. It has MOT until September 2017 and i need it gone asap as its on the road with no insurance of tax and i have no storage! the usual rust bubbling on rear arches but its not rotten just beginning to bubble up.
I dont get a lot of time to check This forum so if you could call me on 07713168246 for enquiries! car is in Barnham, West Sussex.
theres probably a few bits i forgot to mention but ive done a lot to the car!
Looking for £750 o.n.o (car owes me over £1400)

I knew there would be something id forgotten ! I spaced all 4 wheels out 20mm with hubcentric spacers so the wheels would fit perfectly, also fitted 55mm long studs (20mm longer than the original wheel studs) and changed both front bearings at that time (as they were destroyed to dis assemble hubs) and both Lower arms were replaced shortly before Head rebuild!
