Anyone thinking of selling their FRP? Please pm me if you are interested or considering it. Thanks peeps!

Pistonheads is your friend. Last time I looked there was only one on Auto Trader.

Watch out for the rush! Must be at least a dozen looking to sell at the moment.

Ha-ha! If only!

Yeh, looked on there...i seem to have picked a dry time for them at the moment. I should have looked last year!

There is a few on piston heads and eBay?

What is your budget? If the Alcons or cam belt need doing you will need to set a bit a side.

Budget depends on the car to be honest. Obviously as cheap as possible! And i dont mind if its not a minter. Any figure I have can always be stretched for the right one. Any jobs like belt and brakes will be taken into consideration, I would do them myself with the right tools.

Bear in mind a ropey or unloved FRP will potentially be a money pit ;-)

Of course, you're right, it's just getting the balance of condition and cost. It would be wrong of me to get a show car as I won't keep up the detailing and polishing, I prefer driving!

0094 is on Ebay at the moment, 125k and probably about 4k on the bids. LSD as well.

Can't wait to see this local to me

If you got the money.

Or a few cheaper.

The cam belt needs a special tool specific to the FRP.

Also new front discs are around the £400 mark and are unuseable after 26mm. You will spend over £1000 sorting brakes if there have not been done and allow £600 for the cambelt. Tools go for around £150.

Yeh, seen these. Suprised at the price for the brakes, thought they would be cheaper. I'm sure the right car for me will turn up!
