I think with the vinyls you need to stick with a theme and go from there, perhaps get a drawing first. Graphics companies here can usually show you what it might look like before print and application.

Well for the vynils... they are now removed... :) just here and there some smaller pops :D Kinda cute, and I'll see what i can do... maybe stick on some hexes here and there and if i don't like it, i remove it...

I am thinking about giving the whole car an iridescent green lacquer...

Seems like the previous owner took good care of the car :) me happy...

And as i said, my taillights were crappy so we washed:

Took out 10w40 oil, put in 5w30 :) nothing special... not eating it :) goes awesome now

we happy... going to ride some more :D

And yesterday, my UBEC arrived.
I got a dashcam with a damn 5V IN and the regulator is inside the plug... worst idea ever.
I wanted a blackboxed unit so on I went... cut the power wire, only to find out the regulator is in the plug.

Order list:
- UBEC 5V/3A switching regulator.

Well the switching regulator consumes 0.38A and for a 14.8V power, that is roughly 5.6W so 5/5.6 = 89.3% efficiency. 0.6W is dissipated, so almost no heat.
I wanted a simple linear regulator, but for 14.8V it need 1A, so 14.8*1 = 14.8W. For 5V it means 5*1=5W so 5/14.8 = 33.8% eficiency. 14.8-5 = 9.8W... now that is a lot of heat...

So:

Left harness, the 4 speakers, and the rear speaker cables are doubles as those goes to the subwoofer.
Right harness, earth, 12V constant, 12V ignition and REM.
REM goes to my woofer as signal for switching.
I wired in parallel the regulator with the ignition 12V, and the earth. Now when i put on the ignition the camera goes on.
Stop the ignition, camera goes off.

No, it doesn't have parking mode so this was best way to go. Also no wires on the dash etc, as it goes all hidden :)

Ohhh the FORD to ISO adapter. I don't know where it is from, but you HAVE TO SWITCH red and yellow cables. Otherwise your player will loose memory :)

hey Brian :)

Those arches will go away soon :) just to have a better weather :) perhaps in summer or later this year...

Yes I love my car... actually my gf told me that she is getting a bit jealous :( but come on... I'm a man... what can i say? I like girls, but i love cars...

Short update...

ordere 2 tail lights... :)
one piece of 1101258 (yeah that sh*t is expensive), but from a local guy who has some pumas :D

on the way of work... break plates, break discs, rear drum repair soon too.

in the meantime these arrived:

Those look quite smart Steve, I've thought about these for a few years but never actually got any. Are they any good, do they actually work on the motorway or faster roads to have your window down a bit?

How did you find them to fit? I almost bought a set earlier this year but was put off by reading that they were a pig to put on.

I bought a set and you have to use silicon to seal them in as there isn't an actual groove for the window to go into. So I just sold them instead.

NO, i used my little hands :)

So that is a simple plastic... kinda ugly worked on, on the arch not the best way to put on but!, it holds ok. It has double adhesive on the front and back and you need to put in two piece of metal in the window...

Here is the link:
http://www.e-heko.com/en/Instrukcja-montazu-owiewek.html

The little metal piece in the end goes in in front and in the back... to push out the seal otherwise your window will be tilted :)

I'll push tomorrow the car for around 110km/h and report back :)

Well i just was cruising around 90km/h... it is fine...

As TGPlayer1 said, they don't have any groove for the arch to go in, only in front and in the back... bad design from Ford.

I'll get some double side tape to stick it on here and there and report back.

As it comes, it kinda wobbles out when rolling up the windows.

The problem is that the actual U shape in the window arch is not deep enough :(

That mesh grille looks great, got some laying around here aswell and want to tackle the mod too. Could you explain how you did it with fitting and such, or possibly if you found a guide, link it to me? Thanks :)

Konlar can you please quote the pic? i do not know which mesh grille are you talking about... :)
