also ordered a batch of these:
$(KGrHqZ,!qYFDkiV!BvSBQ9+Hpht0w~~60_12.JPG

I hope they will be ok :)

in the meantime i attached my camera to the windshield with double sided tape.

Since I put on motul i observed a little oil burning... so after two tanks of fuel eaten, i checked the oil... well it's in the max... actually a little bit over... 1-2mm only... Oil consumption back on track. All fine...

Still waiting for my front spacers...

In the meantime broken antenna... we will remove it and fill the hole... that's it... no more toy car antenna on... i hate it :)

I managed to put on the Pro-X stickers and also some new spots:
The Pro-X stuff isn't adding much, but the new spots look much better than the original ones, at least they look deliberate and not like patches of primer thrown on.

If you really do have to have stickers, I still think you'd be better off going for lines or curve shapes that emphasise the original lines of the Puma. Spots/camouflage stuff is usually only used to break up really dull uninteresting areas...which the Puma doesn't actually have.

Btw love the new mesh grille, looks great!

now you made me curious... Konlar but now even Frank said he likes it... which thread? link me there :D

:)) i am sleepy but yet i am curious about that mesh grille...

mine is broken as i just checked it today :(

Here you go - http://www.projectpuma.com/viewtopic.php?p=348914#p348914

You could try that, get some proper mesh, i.e. not some old chicken wire, and spray it up green to match your callipers and see how it looks. If it doesn't work, then just spray it up in matt black or something. You can experiment with different effects (I used to, don't any more) as much as you like, so long as you can put it back as it was if it doesn't work out.

Yeah the lower part i love! <3

But for the upper, i was thinking of getting a woman stocking, put on the actual one and mold myself a nice little holder from fiberglass and after that just put mesh in :) that is money :) and i don't have money for that now :D

Well thanks :D

In the meantime... i ordered these:

Was thinking about putting them something like this
bumper grill mod.jpg

Well well well... what i did today... let me give you some hints:
- glass fiber putty green one :D 1KG!
- pop the hood!
- little black plastic held by two screws...

so i did this:
WP_20160411_16_13_05_Pro.jpg

than... get the well known masking tape... put two layers just to be sure... and mark with fiberglass putty:
WP_20160411_16_20_08_Pro.jpg

than go home and start mastering:

Cut out ONLY the interior plastics... and add the two marks/molds made before and complete with fiberglass putty:

Getting there:

And finally:

I am still thinking about removing the whole badge or not... what do you think?

Leave it in, I reckon, as it gives a central focus.

Design-wise, the Puma is only weak in one area - head on. 3/4 view from the front, side view, 3/4 view rear and rear view are all, er, perfect. But the front head on has no focus - that top grille meshed and coloured up and a badge on it will pull the eye into the centre and make it a point of interest. It's possible that even a badge/mascot on the front of the bonnet itself would also help, but that would require experiment.

Btw the bottom grille? - will look much better in mesh, but leave that black. I've seen where people have sprayed up that lower grille in colours and it just doesn't visually work. It also looks desperate, in an attention seeking sort of way.

well i cut out the piece, but possible i stuck it back or add another funny whatever... :D something that reminds of green... for now... no idea... maybe gummy bear:
egyedi-pluss-kabalak.jpg

I'll see later on... waiting for the black mesh to arrive...

for the lower part... I'll do a mesh too, I'll see if i can mold something around... if not I will get a long black AWG 10 cable, cut in half, and place on the border and put in the mesh... after that i'll reinforce it with some splitter rods :D muhahahha

Ok i finished with the glass putty.. sanded and cleaned...

Now looks like this:

I am waiting now to do these:
- recieve mesh from father
- glue in mesh
- prepare for primer
- paint
- maybe lacquer

and close ups:
