So today bit of change :)

As i posted here and there, on longer journeys my passenger (gilrfriend, soon to be mother of my copies, or how would you like to call her), got always flooded.

Now the guys told me to just clear the tube... i was... jeezz i just blown in it, all fine... next days, same thing... ok today was like... come on, we pull up the carpet... and we pry open that damn clips holding on to the airbox... got the tube out after 1 hour of finger breaking procedure...

here... that black flock shows around 70% of what was actually inside of it...

now she is running fine... A/C won't disengage although... (it does disengage when AC is off) but won't cycle...

Hi Steve
Funnily enough I posted on the removal of the heater drain from the heater box. The best way I found is to spin the tangs of the clip until they are facing the front of the car, then using 90 degree bend circlip pliers go over the rubber tube from the rear squeeze the pliers shut on the tangs and then you can pull the clip down the pipe. When replacing use a jubilee clip :)

well i just... put it back with my hands :) no problem :D i got enough force in my fingers :D

now just the clutch who does not want to disengage :D

well of course i grasped it for half a second and managed to push higher 1mm... wait until i get a bit rest... and again... and again :D and again... my index and thumb were destroyed but well :D worked out fine...

Look what the heck i did today:
13576741_832118906931997_2883952941618053785_o.jpg

And for what? just to risk everything and try making this:
13641037_832140080263213_6125831268488172355_o.jpg

Yes i removed the needle, no i did not disconnected the battery for airbag removal :) Yes all works normally.

And all i got was this:
13580439_832140106929877_6489510929518023363_o.jpg

Next week I'll change the lens :)

Yeah, it's just i was dumb enough to not paint the needles white :)) red on green is kinda hard to see :D

Work again:
13680116_835131639964057_5793818381977278745_o.jpg

and got finally this:
13737529_835156099961611_6582345945747787062_o.jpg

Now two problems...
1. damn typo (get's instead of get).
2. "Sometimes" was hit right in the middle by the needle stopper...

For me, it's ok... we can bypass a typo I think...

Oh... there is a way to remove the cluster without removing the steering... Just pop the lens in the dash, lens goes through wheel, back part goes side to left :)

So as my cluster glass was scratched... i thought of a polish...
so here it is:
glass1.jpg

Wet sanding:

Cleaned off:

Pass 1:
glass4.jpg

Pass 2:
glass5.jpg

Final pass, and waxed too:

The little scratched are just really really not observable surface scratched from the microfiber cloth... but looks amazing...

And of course, finally the final one:

Wow! I have been away for a while (far too long) on business, and you have really been busy!

Congratulations on all the hard work!!

Little update... broken my wing mirror :))) ordered a Fiesta 4 heated glass... should be a straight fit.
Got a new front grill, which i will cannibalize soon
also polished my gear ball :))
and made 3000 km in two weeks... i'll be back with photos...

Also a new Pioneer mech-less headunit was installed, and the woofer signal cable rewired with RCA... huge difference...

Back again...

as the paint from my left wing mirror just flew away i repainted them :) matte black... lovely lovely fit:

Tried to order Puma heated mirror glass... they said the don't have it... ordered a Fiesta MK4 one... they said it wouldn't fit... but well:

and here she is:

like a glove...

as being an aftermarket glass, the conector pins for the heating was NOT a straight fit... the pins are smaller but i managed to put the actual connectors to it... should test it see if it's working but i am waiting for a cold night for that :D

Ok i managed to make my custom grill.
Debadged... Cannibalised another grill but well... Here she is:resized1.jpg

Also a friend sent a broken rear wing... Its an ms design one... I sanded it down, primed and painted. Of course before i made the glueing with some epoxy
I drilled 4 holes and cut a bicycle inner rubber to fit between my trunk and wing :)

Looks good.

How did you do the headlights like that? That's a pretty good look for those, I reckon.

go to fleebay :) search for oracal 641 sticker sheet... buy...

get an A4 paper or A3, put on headlight, draw the shape... cut the A3 paper... test fit... if you like, mark the shape on the oracal.
one normal, one mirrored. cut, stick and you are done :D

And I got a new set of rims...

50GBP... all 4 :) and extra two Continental Premium Contact 2 tyres :D
