Been pretty busy last few days sorting out 128... Owner is keeping it and wants it pukka again.. :thumbs:

Unfortunately the previous owner (or their garage) thought it a great idea to cure all the numerous leaking issues with a bottle of 'liquid metal' type leak stop compound... well, it was also put into the gearbox as that came out a nice bitty orangy brown shit mess too.. :cry:

here's the result!... the bottom end is knackered, the big end journals and bearing caps are scored to death...

Anyway... On with the new block and rebuild..more piccys soon...

How was the head of the engine? can imagine the camschafts being completely thrash becauso of this stuf that was put in the engine. Well acually I would think anything that uses engine oil for lubrication would've been thrash.

MOT x 2!

on with the next! lol :lol: :lol:
 
I hope the garage who messed it up paid dearly for that, so damn stupid
