These things are all relative and labour costs are somewhat different - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_European_countries_by_average_wage

...yup, aware of that... but it still has me pondering a way of getting an interior there and getting the work done , or thinking maybe I need to check if my sat nav covers Ukraine

If covers wait for you, and will help you with your cat ! ) or you can send me your interior for example, choose the colours and after guys done I will send you back . I think its Faster and cheeper )

Mine look like this -

Yep, just glue them, it's not like you'll need to take them off. New ones aren't expensive though.

If you haven't already, new wheel nuts give a better look as well - oddly, it's was when I was taking that picture above, ages back now, that it dawned on me that the old wheel nuts on mine looked dull. Small details, but they all add up.

.

As much as I enjoy a bit of dedicated desiccated humour, I read "glue them back like it was, but afraid to lose them" as repair the broken fasteners using glue ( not glue the centre cap to the rim :) ) but afraid they will then fall off... I could be wrong though.

Whichever, it might be worth asking about these Rost, see if they intact and he's willing to send?

*cough* Centre caps are not the same as the original flaking dinner plates (see your link for the average condition of same, once a wheel has been on and off a few times) that were standard with prop wheels. That's why I said it didn't matter about gluing them, as the wheels can still be removed with them in place. My pic does give the general idea. :)

Hi Frank, it was actually the pic that threw me, as the only thing I could see missing was the covers but I understand what you mean now, my bad. I did say I may be wrong and indeed I was... but in fact, it appears I didn't even get right what I thought I may be wrong about :)

Seriously, no problem. :) I like the look of the standard props very much (i.e. being the only alloy wheels in 10+ years that have ever caught my eye in a carpark full of cars all with alloy wheels, sort of way) but felt they were let down by the original centre covers. So, I just thought I'd mention my 'solution' in passing to Rost, in case the idea was useful to him.

Rost has built quite some car there. Yes, the colour might be somewhat sudden, but I reckon that's the only Puma in the world with doors like that. Quite an achievement.

:eek:k: The props definitely look better with the covers off, you seem to get the turbine effect better then I think. Yup, he's done a grand job... very inspirational. One day, one day. :)

What's wrong with my car????

2 change temperature sensor
3 order vhc
4 order heater control panel

After change termostat and temperature sensor still have problem

WHAT TO DO ???

Timing belt is ok , but have p1383 problem

Hi,
I had something similar a while back, turned out to be the HCV, not only caused heater issues (normally just stays stuck on hot or cold though) but for some reason completely messed up the temp gauge readings....replaced it and all returned back to normal.

Re. timing, that code can be related to any of these:
Cam timing improperly set Continuous oil flow to the VCT piston chamber VCT solenoid valve stuck open Camshaft advance mechanism binding (VCT unit).

1) Timing out- retarded for this code.
2)Continuous oil flow to piston chamber
3)VCT solenoid stuck open
4) VCT unit camshaft advance binding.

You absolutely certain the timing isn't out? Also, this thread might help to test if your VCT is stuck: http://www.projectpuma.com/viewtopic.php?t=29865

Am sure far wiser heads than mine will offer further advice.
Greg.
