Installing air conditioning in a 1.4?

I found an air conditioning kit that was scavenged off a dead puma for cheap (http://www.custojusto.pt/santarem/pecas-carros/ford-puma-ar-condicionado-18802191) and I was wondering if I can fit it in my 1.4.

Also, how involved is the process of installing the AC unit?

Hi, I've got aircon in mine and it takes up a lot of engine bay. In other words there's a lot of it. Seriously dude unless you're a mechanical genius I wouldn't bother. Just for starters you'd need to relocate your power steering pump and acquire appropriate hydraulic pipework. Plus you'd need to sort out the engine management to accommodate the two speed radiator fan fitted to aircon models, It would be a massive undertaking. Probably better to find a puma that has it fitted as standard, and working. Mines fitted and doesn't work by the way, Hey ho. Just open a window.

On a cheerfull note, your puma has a lower kerb weight and more engine access to carry out maintainance. Anton
