Hi all, is there a method to removing the suction cup thing in the bulkhead to remove the wiring from the footwell?

I tried popping it out but it seems glued in, I ran out of light and called it a day, but is there a method to removing it?

Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean the rubber grommet the loom goes through.
In which case, it just prises out. Needs a bit of persuading.
Though some people slather it with silicone while trying to `cure` a wet footwell.
So it could be glued in. :?

Just get a bigger screwdriver. (a prybar is best)

Thanks, I did exactly that. It's easier to push it up and out. Just got a pry bar and gave it a little persuasion whilst someone pulled on the wires and out it came. Had to push both gromets out in order to get enough room to move the fuse box out the way.

All sorted now. Just need to drop the engine and split the gearbox and take the cylinder head off then cars finished with.
