so as i am teaching myself to weld as am doing a custom exhaust for the turbo i had some old metal lying around and thought it would be a good idea to create a groove to hold the exhaust parts in when i am building them this is what im doing

above is one end ready to be welded to one of the ends

below is the ends welded onto the metal piece to use as exhaust rest whilst welding exhaust pices
