    Popped to the shop tonight and halfway there the dash died, indicator lights still worked but nothing else. Car still drove fine though. Turns out the dash fuse is the same as the centre brake light and the wire for that had a bit of bare wire. Easy repair but I thought I was in for an...

    Cambelt was done while it was off the road, as we're the rear bushes. The chap was keeping it forever, but his heart was stolen by another old Ford. He's going to come and help me do the arches when I start and has asked for first refusal if I sell it :-)
