ive seen the quick shift an the rear panels that guy sells an they seem over price to be honest the quick shift all that needs to be changed is the fulcrum point an you get a short shifter just modify the one that's on your car that's all hes doing, as for the panels there beating to shape not...

if your doing that much id also get the top mounts changed at the same time, should be any more in labour an for that sake of a few extra quid its worth while

if that's supplying all parts and including labour id say that's pretty good id get it in writing though as that number can good up "if they find something" as a lot of garages do.

first ive heard of a filter popping off, I was thinking you meant the filter casing popped of the base lol but if your planning on going turbo id recommended double, triple checking the filter once fitted lol or bye bye turbo.

+1 on the compression test an a cylinder leak down test, an if everything else is checked to be ok, there could be a chance of a weak valve spring an once hot enough gets loose enough to notice a misfire, its not common though but can happen
