Hi I've just taken the near side c.v joint off my frp but the one supplied from a local mart doesn't seem to go over the drive shaft spines. Are the frp c.v's slightly wider? I know the shaft is longer but didn't think it would be wider too. Cheers

Anyone done it before? I've never done one before but going to tackle it in the week. Thing I'm bothered about the most is pulling the drive shaft out while trying to pull off the old joint. But needs must as I'm off to ford fair :grin:

Sorry bud I'm still not 100% getting it easy when you know how I guess. So how do small struts attach to longer ones that go into bootlid . And how do long struts attach in bootlid surely there not welded in, and I was told to weld some bar in to strengthen boot as the added downforce will...

I still need more info please as bloke at body shop still scratching his head. I.E how does the bits you can't see go together? How do you stop the struts moving around as you can't welt ally to steel. Thanks

Hi As subject says how do you fit one ? I have only been supplied with 2 alloy strut mounts and 2 additional pipes but can't figure it out. Thanks for help in advance
