On mine, also i noticed a big leak running from the back of the engine (might explain why sometimes i smell burnt oil after vivid driving), running then below the pan, driveshafts and even gearbox. My current gasket is made by elringo too, but i barelly put any sealant on it.

Novelties... The most important ones are: Lowered it 30mm with H&R springs and got new dampers for the rear. 4 Goodyear efficientgrip performance tyres Pipercross air filter Also installed a new head unit with reverse camera.

Pumping up this very old thread, but it is relevant for me. I do indeed notice oil consumption. Gases on mot are all fine. No smoke. Exhaust is not oily, only dry soot. And seems to occur at highway speeds when the engine is over 4000k rpm I've ordered one of these valves and will replace...

Also fitted a new air filter. Pipercross performance panel filter. Honestly, I don't notice any change at all. Probably is breathing better at higher rpm's

So, last Monday it had fitted the lowering springs, control arms, droplinks, and rear struts. I'll share some pics soon :) Handles like a Puma :grin:

Solved. Didn't needed to get under the car, managed to do it from the hood. Unscrewed the speedo cable, disconnected the plug and unscrewed the vss All solved. No more error codes and the car doesn't stall anymore :D

Thanks! It arrived today. Tomorrow will try my lyck I suppose I can do it without getting under the car. Finally having thin arms and long fingers may be helpful :lol:

I've ordered one analog dash VSS for my car, so, until it arrives, is only a matter to unscrew it and put new one? Or is there any cautions, special procedures to take on consideration?

The only problem will be bleeding them. While I did refurbish my scooter callipers once, in a car while the basis are similar... Bleeding is more complicated alone :(
