Nice FRP on Pistonheads, No.462, just under £12k, low mileage and it’s had the bad bits done by Whiteland restorations. Has to be a snip !

FRP 109 sold for £8828 on Sat.18th. Looks like somebody got a bargain judging by the details given. You never know though, mine looked exactly like it when I bought it ( except for the white wheels ! ) and it’s in pieces now getting surgery. Never judge an FRP by its pretty face 😀

I believe the prices stated are the total ! There are so many possible reasons for the low prices as XAF has correctly stated, we also don’t know the ‘other’ history of the cars, sometimes the auction descriptions only ‘talk up’ the good points ! These 2 cars look and sound very genuine but ...

Sorry second one was sold on Saturday 19/05/18, a wee typo !

FRP 254 sold a few weeks ago at auction for £9.5k , another one sold at Historics at Brooklands on 10/05/18 for £9.1 k, both rather cheap in my opinion! The one on Saturday was estimated £ 10 - 14 k and really looked the part and had good history too, I feel a bit sad for the owner who got such...
