I had to get someone to counterhold without a tool for the the crank pulley, There is no real easy way without a tool. Even my milwuakee impact gun couldnt break it.

I used the provided 12v lighter socket with a female lighter socket end, put them together and taped them up. Found the live for the overhead light and hid the wiring inside the cavity above the light.

I got mine powered by the overhead light, I leave it on 24/7 and it does not drain my battery.

Someone modified mine I think by adding extra earths using the rear boot gas struts. Unless someone has a picture of it being original I have no idea what the hell its for.

Try turning the engine over in gear (3rd for example) via a wheel with one side jacked up to see if the engine is seized.

On the rear boot, get some scotch-brite-like material and make sure the rear copper contacts are clean. Otherwise like mine its the bonnet switch that is broke, I snapped mine taking the head off the engine.
