    Out and about

Thanks. I was a bit concerned as I know how security conscious they are nowadays, so I did check with the guard first. He said Ok.......but I had to be quick!

    Out and about

As I don't think I've shown any before, I thought I'd post a picture of my Puma taken while I was out and about recently. The other another design classic behind is the 'gate guard' at RAF Benson.

    Cowley Classic Car Show

I've been meaning to post that I visited the Cowley Classic Car Show on the bank holiday Monday....... and hoped that I'd spot a Puma there. Having walked up and down the rows of cars I was a little disappointed not to see any until I came across this nice one in the last row. I wasn't...

    2000 Ford Puma 1.7

Nice one. My favourite colour for a Puma...........after Pacific Green that is!

Old Ford Rally Gaydon museum 23/07/23

That's a nice looking collection - it's good to see so many together.

To be or not to be..

I might be a little boring but I tend to like my cars pretty much standard. I'm all for diversity though, and as Phil says it's your car, so go for it. Be good to see some pictures when finished.

Silver Puma spotted - Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

Although guessing's fun, I'll take the reg number next time!

Silver Puma spotted - Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

Yeah, why not wave, whatever car I'm in ... I might even do a thumbs up.

Silver Puma spotted - Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

Thanks John, I think I'll have to get out more! You certainly know your local Puma's. You should be able to watch out for a Pacific Green one soon.

Silver Puma spotted - Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

I spotted a silver Puma on the Wallingford bypass recently and meant to ask if it was anyone's on here? I would have waved but it might have seen odd as we were in my wife's Smart Car. It came as a bit of a pleasant surprise.....probably because I can't remember the last time I saw one on the...

    Back on the road

Thanks Cubatoo, hopefully it will be an easy fix. Should be fixed & Mot'd this week, so looking forward to taking it out for a proper drive.

    Back on the road

Thanks for that. :) The mechanic arrived, changed the fuel pump and now the car is now purring like a kitten....... and moved under it's on steam for the first time in quite a while. It's now booked in, the week after next, to have a small hole in the sill welded, service & mot'd...

    Back on the road

Lock down, a back injury & work put the brakes on me sorting out my Puma - which has been off the road since it failed to start a 2/3 years ago. Anyway I got a mobile mechanic out today who confirmed my suspicion that the fuel pump had gone. Knowing that it was a tank out job was partly why I...

    #save the pumas

I've not posted for a while because I'm one of the ones whose Puma is sitting, sorn in the garage. Not long after buying it the fuel pump went & before I could deal with it I badly hurt my back..... & then covid hit.. and I set up working for my self...... all of which left dealing with my Puma...

Looking good - it would be great to see some pics of the 'work in progress', if possible?

    My Puma

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it is the sort of crazing you get when the paint flexes or GRP gel coat cracks. I guess the previous owner nudged the bumper but only enough to dmage the finish and not split/dent the bumper itself. It's a little annoying as it's quite a large patch. I'll try to...

    My Puma

I kept meaning to post a picture of my Puma so, here it is. Taken at the dealers that I bought it from a couple of years ago. (haven't managed to take one since). Although in great condition, the picture is very flattering and doesn't show the odd mark, crazing on the bumbers or the (small)...

    Under cover at last

I'm not sure why but, even though my garage keeps the car dry, it still gets covered in a lot of dust after being in there a little while! Also, although saved from the birds, I do have to watch out for spider droppings!

    Under cover at last

I've thought the same too......I need to make more effort. So... it looks great, plenty big enough and, I think, a must have to help slow down the dreaded tin worm. I'm lucky enough to have a small garage, especially as mine is off the road at the moment.
