    hi...

Hi Bigbn! And hello Ben, we have a Benedict now too, 11 weeks old now. :)

    Accord replacement

Could have been either a late plate C900 or possibly a 900 or even avery early 95 or GM900. That narrowed it down huh? I would guess C900 as everyone thinks they look awesome, especially Carlsons or T16S.

    Accord replacement

Well I bought my first one in December and my second in April! If I was allowed I would get a 900 convertible or more likely (and cheaply) a 93 convertible. 8-)

    Accord replacement

THere are a few Saab tuners, Hirsch is the official one, Maptun is now pretty well known and Abbot Tuning are probably best known. As most 95 estates are 120bhp diesels you can see folks double take when I overtake in 3rd gear and my Aero is totally standard. I am tempted to maybe get a stage...

    Accord replacement

eh? Your childhood dream car was a Saab93? :?: I must be much older than you then as I loved early 900 Carlsons and 99 Turbos. I also remember 96 rally cars!

    Accord replacement

doubt I will keep it that long but like the 95 has fssh! a new 95 wagon in a few years may well replace one of them. Loving it in steel grey like the 93. :)

Another reason not to use webuyanycar.com

What Warren said! The ads pee me right off, surely the only people who patronise this company are desperate people needing a very quick sale or as Warren said, Idiots!

    Accord replacement

It is a 1.9 TiD 150 93 Vector Sport with optional Business pack, light washers and auto wipers. :) Just couldn't get an ST anywhere close to me and with the baby arriving just as I started looking it was a bit of a faff! Plus I like the 93 and that came from the main dealer in Edinburgh so...

    Accord replacement

Well I looked at lots of cars to replace the Accord as I need a diesel for my new job. I even looked at a Mondeo ST as I do like them rather a lot but in the end this won. Now a 2 Saab family. :)

    My new car

Very nice, I seriously considered one of those but wanted the estate, despite the huge boot on the saloon. Boy round the corner has a silver estate and it looks great. I do prefer the blue though. I do love the Saab but would happily swap mpg figures with you! :)

My Temp replacement for my Puma

Lovely looking Calibra. I had a Cav and it was a great car. SHame it is not the 4x4 Turbo nutter one! :) Hardly see them about now except old nails. YOu could probably make money on it through an enthusiast club when you get your FRP.
  12. guyincognito1975

Oh no, Puma wont stop revving!

The ICV is a favourite fault of Pumas but relatively simple to fix, I am sure there is a how to guide on here.

    New "sensible" family car.

Scotty, it is indeed the full fat 250bhp Aero! :) It is actually averaging just under 30mpg which is about what my V70 did. Only I now have an extra 110 horses to play with. Even the insurance stayed the same. One of the perks of being an old man I guess. It has the Lux Aero pack so 200watt...

    New "sensible" family car.

My new car. :-P Enough room for an expanding family and fast enough to overtake!! It is actually covered in frost, ice and some snow and also salt and muck so only garage pics. Have never unleashed it as the temperature has never been above 3 degrees since I picked it up a...

Newbie with a (currently being naughty) pink millie

I have once had an exhaust fitted by Kwik Fit about 14 years ago and I went to the pub for a game of pool. On the way back to the kwik fit yard my friend sais "thats like yours" and there was my pride and joy being razzed along by some tosser with the window down and my expensive stereo...

Newbie with a (currently being naughty) pink millie

dont dont dont take it to kwik fit!!!!!! they cant even fit exhausts and tyres without f'ing something up! I remember the last owner of a pink millie, talking about it on PP an d getting into an argument about whether it was or wasn't! I would check the joins, preferably early in the morning...

FRP "not as good as the standard car on the road"

According to EVO magazine but they did say it was brilliant and depreciation proof, just better suited to track work!
  20. guyincognito1975

    hello

Marie, dunno about trade in values on Pumas nowadays i am afraid. The Focus Diesel is a stonker as long as you get the 113bhp one. Zetec would be my choice or Sport if you can find one. Then you get the ST170 suspension, nicer wheels and ST fogs and soports half leather etc. They come in...
