Well I looked at lots of cars to replace the Accord as I need a diesel for my new job. I even looked at a Mondeo ST as I do like them rather a lot but in the end this won. Now a 2 Saab family. :)

Is that a 2.2 9-5?

Nice 8)

It is a 1.9 TiD 150 93 Vector Sport with optional Business pack, light washers and auto wipers. :)

Just couldn't get an ST anywhere close to me and with the baby arriving just as I started looking it was a bit of a faff! Plus I like the 93 and that came from the main dealer in Edinburgh so pretty close by! :)

I really like the colour.

It does look very smart. The great thing with Saabs is their engineering - often being over engineered on major mechanical components. 250,000 should be achievable with ease if it's a keeper 8)

doubt I will keep it that long but like the 95 has fssh!

a new 95 wagon in a few years may well replace one of them. Loving it in steel grey like the 93. :)

eh? Your childhood dream car was a Saab93? :?:

I must be much older than you then as I loved early 900 Carlsons and 99 Turbos. I also remember 96 rally cars!

I did have a secart craving for a metallic blue hot areo estate near me.

was a lovely car and it had some Birds tunning is or some saab specialist stickers on it.

Sounded like Darth Vadar after a long run when he booted it

THere are a few Saab tuners, Hirsch is the official one, Maptun is now pretty well known and Abbot Tuning are probably best known.

As most 95 estates are 120bhp diesels you can see folks double take when I overtake in 3rd gear and my Aero is totally standard. I am tempted to maybe get a stage 1 just for the extra torque though. :)

Neil, that is not the 96 but I did like them a lot, the 96 is the older style curvy one with massive curvy wings.

Like that but the saloon/hatchback.

Not sure which Saab but I certainly liked the French vet's car which was a Saab...was 1997-8 at the time?

Could have been either a late plate C900 or possibly a 900 or even avery early 95 or GM900.

That narrowed it down huh? I would guess C900 as everyone thinks they look awesome, especially Carlsons or T16S.

Saabs are good I had a 1987 Classic 900 8 valve turbo which was modified witha HEUSCHMID head and fast fast road cam...
Heuschmid HS2 was the dogs
look at their website very nice..

I also had a classic 1985 16 valve turbo which was standard...

that photo was a 99EMS from about 1976ish or a 99 turbo with water injection about the same year
do a search for a 99 turbo Enduro which was EPIC

cheers boys'n'girls
