A question directed to you guys who have dropped your gearboxes. To change the top gearbox mount in the engine bay do you need to drop the gearbox and and the driveshaft or can you just use a jack to hold the gearbox and then replace the gearbox mount without dropping the gearbox?

Hi New puma owner just picked my car up last week never owned a puma but owned many fords. Puma 1.4 purchased to hopefully prepare for some rally events next year if my finances hold up, was recommended to join this site by a friend also a rally buff. :wink:
