Do you guys have your seat horizontal don't understand why you guys have headroom. probably i am used to A focus which has 6-10 inches above your head and i have spiky hair so know its time for a haircut when my hair touches the roof lol.

ive took the housing off cant really see the spring but can see the steering wheel turning and have sprayed wd40 where there is a possible friction problem. Hope this solves the problem. hasnt made much of a difference so far :(

Seems like something like this certainly will have a look and check it out so basically justt take hosing off. I assume it just unclips?
